- Sign up for and install on your site - Tag Manager
- enable all "built-in" "variables" (in left navigation click Variables link)
- Sign up for the new improved - GA4 (Google Analytics 4) tracking
- connect your old Universal Analytics account (if you have one)
Track user events (clicks)
Easiest way to do it is actually in Tag Manager, not in Analytics. If your Analytics tag is connected, it should work. Create a trigger:
